Government Motion to Reduce Number of days Parliament will Sit, Successful

A motion brought forward by the government to reduce the number of days Parliament will sit by 10 days was successful.

The proposed amendments removes the sittings scheduled for March and July.

Only 3 of the National Federation Party MP’s voted against the motion while five other abstained. It seems both SODELPA and FijiFirst Mp’s voted in support of the motion.
