Yeshnil Karan, of Tavua takes out his second gold in less than 24 hours at the 2019 Coca Cola Games at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Karan won the first gold medal beating Petero Veitaqomaki of Marist Brother’s High School in 1500m yesterday before snatching another gold from big names of MBHS, QVS and Natabua in the 3000m race this morning.
Karan defeated Petero Veitaqomaki of Marist Brother’s High School for the second time in the Coke Games in 3000m after deating him in 1500m.
Yeshnil Karan is of Tavua College and has shone an impressive athletic skills over these two days.
Karan says one of the difficulties he endured during the training was the rainy weather in Yaladro, Tavua.
He says he was confident that he will do something great.
