Surface Flooding in Noboutini, Drivers Struggle to Make Home Safely

Heavy downpour due to a low pressure system over Viti Levu have caused massive flooding in low lying areas.

Naboutini village in Serua is now experiencing surface flooding as flood waters now rise as much as a feet onto the roads.

Fiji Roads Authority says that the road has been reduced to single lane which has caused massive traffic along this highway.

Drivers are moving slowly bumper to bumper trying to make their way home safely for this Easter weekend.
