NFA Responded To A Emergency Call to Retrieve Driver Stuck Under Landslide

A massive landslide in Talenaua Village in Serua yesterday trapped a man and his vehicle underneath as emergency services rushed to the scene for the rescue.

National Fire Authority responded to an emergency call and dug through the landslide to rescue the driver and his vehicle safely without any injuries.

Fiji Road Authority says that the road along Talenaua village is currently reduced to single lane as contractors are working to clear the debris.

Multiple roads around Viti Levu are partially or fully closed to traffic due to flooding or landslide after massive downpour.
