Nausori, Tailevu South and Rewa Delta is expected to face temporary water disruption

Elevated parts of Nausori, Tailevu South and Rewa Delta is expected to face temporary disruption in water supply from this evening.

In a press release this evening, Water Authority of Fiji says that the interruption in supply is due to a major burst main at Duilomaloma Rd, Waila.

The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.

Supply is expected to be gradually restored by 8am Thursday morning (6/06/19).

For water carting requests members of the public are to contact the Authority’s National Call Centre emergency toll free line 1507.

The Authority says that it highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
