TSLB to cut funding for students willing to study at USP Pacific TAFE

Students willing to undertake University of South Pacific’s TAFE programs from next academic year will face a major blow after the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Board announced that it will not provide loan or sponsorship to students who will enroll in TAFE programs.

While the reasons remain unknown, TSLB on their Facebook page announced that it will “no longer be funding USP Pacific TAFE programs for the new students from the new academic year(2020).

Only students enrolling for Early Childhood programs at USP TAFE will be eligible for loan scheme if they meet the eligibility criteria.

Existing Pacific TAFE students will be allowed to complete their current enrolled program.
