Fiji born winger, Sevu Reece finally revealed today his decision to choose New Zealand over Fiji as he made his debut in All Blacks jersey in Sapporo Japan.
The 22 year old Crusaders winger said it was his dream to play for the All Blacks.
“To be fair, it was a dream of mine to always play for the All Blacks,” Reece told media.
Born in Nadi, Reece was eligible to play for the FLying Fijians but he turned down the offer from the Fijian coach John McKee to come and represent his country.
“I had conversations with the coach of the Flying Fijians (McKee), and showed him my plan, what I wanted to do, what my future looked like, and that was in the black jersey.
“I appreciated him trying to talk to me, but this was always a dream of mine, to play for the All Blacks,” he said.
